Ibn Rajab said that all of lust originated from the passions rather than putting their love for Allah and their Messenger. Allah SWT has characteristic to follow the passions in several places in the Qur’an, as well as acts of heresy. in fact it comes from putting the passions rather than the Shari’a, which is why the people are called Ahlul Ahwa.

Each well was carnal lust and carnal lust doubtful endanger the faith of a servant and was required for him to love what is loved by Allah and their Messenger, and hate what is hated by Allah and their Messenger desires to follow the sharia, and this is what faith required of a servant.

It means: “So by your Lord, they (basically) do not believe until they make you judge of the case that they differ, then they dont feel in their hearts something objections to the decisions that you give, and they receive the full.” (Surah An Nisa [4]: 65)

Among the dangers following the lusts of the faith of a servant of God is:

1. Following the passions to deter the perpetrators from the law and do justice in society and will encourage him to cruely and hostility. It means: “O those who believe, be you people who are firmly for justice, as witnesses for Allah even against yourselves or parents and the kin. if he is rich or poor, Allah knows better for them. So dont follow the lust because they want to deviate from the truth. and if you spin flip (the words) or decline to do justice, then Allah is Oft knows all that they do. “(Surah An-Nisa [4]: 135)
2. Following the passions will encourage perpetrators committing heresy in the religion and away from the Sunnah.

It means: “And Nor was saying it (the Quran) by the will desires. His remarks were nothing but revelation revealed (to him). “(Surat An-Najm [53]: 3-4)
3. Following passions cause obstruction of the offender rather than guidance and Taufiq.

It means: “And had We willed, Verily We raise (degrees) it with the verses, but he tended to the world and indulge in a low desires, Then parables like a dog if you prevent his tongue and if you let her She held out her tongue ( as well). That way the likeness of those who belied Our verses. And Tell (to them) these stories so they think. “(Surat Al A’raf [7]: 176)
4. Following the passions will bring the perpetrators deny the truth and misguided from the path of Allah SWT can even mislead others from him.

It means: “And if they dont answer (challenge) know that they really just follow their whims (mere). and who is more astray than one who follow the desires without guidance from God at all. The real God doesnt guide the unjust people. “(Surat al-Qashash [28]: 50)
5. The most serious is that following the passions to make the perpetrators infidels and out of the religion of Islam.

It means: “Why do not you want to eat (kosher animals) called the name of God when the slaughter, And Allah has explained to you what His forbidden you, except what you have to eat it. and Lor majority (of men) really want to mislead (others) with their lusts without knowledge. Verily their Lord, Itis more aware of people who exceed the limit. “(Surat al-An’am [6]: 119)

Principal of the lust of the world within one’s self, there are four, namely: women, wealth, children and the position or power, as stated in His Word:

زين للناس حب الشهوات من النساء والبنين والقناطير المقنطرة من الذهب والفضة والخيل المسومة والأنعام والحرث ذلك متاع الحياة الدنيا والله عنده حسن المآب
It means: “cite this as a beautiful (view) the human love of what is desirable, it is: the women, children, treasure that many of the types of gold, silver, horses, cattle and rice fields. That’s the pleasure of living in the world, and on the side of Allah is the excellent return (Paradise). “(Surah Ali-Imran [3]: 14)

Therefore let every believer should be extra vigilant against the attitude of good weather following the passions and their lust doubtful. And among that can be done to defeat the pull of the passions that always ordered him to perform immoral, are:

1. The fear of the adzab and punishment of Allah SWT. Since this is the most solid defense to avoid the follow passions, as his word:

وما ينطق عن الهوى إن هو إلا وحي يوحى
It means: “And Nor was saying it (the Quran) by the will desires. His remarks were nothing but revelation revealed (to him). “(Surat An-Najm [53]: 3-4)

Imam Ibn Jarir al-Tabari ath said, “As for anyone who fears God will question against him when he stands before Him on the Day of Resurrection. So keep your duty to Him in His work on various obligations and away from many of his immoral. He said, “Prohibiting desires within the soul rather than things that are hated by God and did let by him and avoided him. Then put it to things that are commanded his Lord, behold heaven residence. ”
2. Always ask for help to Allah, the holding hearts of His servants. Allah has promised guidance to people who ask for directions to Him, as mentioned in the hadeeth qudsi, “O My servants, you all are in error, except the one I gave instructions. Therefore, seek guidance from me, then I’ll give it to you! “(Narrated by Muslim)
3. Taking refuge in Allah from the evil passions and desires of the soul. Indeed the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam refuge in Allah from the evil spirit, as mentioned in the hadeeth Khutbah al Hajah, “And we take shelter him from the evil of our souls and our evil deeds.” (Narrated by Nasai), (from the book: Min Mu’awwiqat ad-Da’wah ‘Ala Dhaui as Sunnah wa al Book)
